Abstract

Workstation at simplistic level is used for viewing and interpreting digital radiological images. Multi modality worksations which can render images from different modalities are evolving. They provide the state-of-the-art clinical packages with advanced image processing algorithms there by extracting the maximum iniformation. Healthcare platforms are becoming increasingly popular for their seamless integration with modalities from different vendors. Diseases are becoming more prevalent demanding more workstations.
